I am new to blogging, but thought it would be a great opportunity to share my creative mind and news from my studio.

I am a Mixed Media Artist, I specialize in Altered Art and Original Textile Art.
I started sewing when I was about 5 years old. I have experience as a floral designer, quilter, infant & toddler clothing designer, embroidery, painting, drawing, altered art, mixed media art, 3D art, and some attempts at paper arts such as quilling and origami.
I volunteer for our local Humane Society. I have created a line of wearable art and paintings called Puppy Love. A portion of the sale of my Puppy Love line will go to local animal shelter.
Things I like include #mermaids, #steampunk, #beach, #ocean, #upcycle, #victorian, #seashells, #peacocks, #feathers, #birds, #quilts, #sewing, #books, #reading, #library, #pets, #dogs…so I try to incorporate these things in my work.
I am a wife and mother of two kids and one puppy. I pull a lot of my inspiration from them, too. My studio is a social hub in our home with all our minds contributing to a creative atmosphere.
